Jujutsu Kaisen: 5 Jutsu Satoru Could Use (& 5 He Couldn't)
Satoru Gojo has won over every fan of Jujutsu Kaisen already, but how well can he pull over fans from other hit anime series, such as Naruto?
Jujutsu Kaisen has entered the anime world as a worthy successor to staples like Naruto and Bleach. The dark world that Yuji Itadoria and Satoru Gojo live in borrows a lot from the shows that came before it. This has allowed JJK to push its way into the hearts of even the most stubborn anime fans.
To truly test how well a character like Satoru Gojo fits into the larger anime culture, he has to be put to the jutsu test. Luckily, Gojo is an adept jujutsu sorcerer, meaning that even though he exists in an entirely different franchise, even some of the most difficult Naruto jutsu techniques are well within his range.
10Could Use: The Chidori May Utilize Lightning To Enhance A Shinobi's Strength & Speed, But Satoru Could Easily Substitute Cursed Energy To Accomplish The Same Thing
Satoru Gojo has yet to create literal lightning out of his near limitless supply of cursed energy, but if fans look at Chidori as a simple enhancement technique, then Gojo has already proven that he can use the Chidori Jutsu with ease.
The Chidori technique allows its user to strike an opponent with the speed and strength of lightning, but Gojo has already surpassed this level of power. During his fight against the special grade cursed spirit Jogo, Gojo demonstrates speed and strength that far exceeds anything Sasuke can achieve with the Chidori Jutsu.
9Couldn't Use: The Sand Release Jutsu Is Cool, But Satoru Gojo's Control Over Infinity Makes The Sand Release Jutsu A Bit Below His Paygrade
Naruto fans will never forget the battle between Gaara and Rock Lee from the original series. Gaara's ability to manipulate sand with his chakra is one of the coolest anime abilities ever put to screen, yet Rock Lee still manages to steal the show with his incredible physical abilities during their fight.
Satoru Gojo is not a man who enjoys being outshined. Luckily, the ability to manipulate the idea of infinity into combat buffs is about as cool as it gets. Of course, it would be cool if Gojo could also manipulate sand, but the fact that he can't doesn't really steal much from his character.
8Could Use: Though It Has Yet To Be Fully Demonstrated On Screen, Gojo Is Capable Of A Teleportation Technique That Is Similar To The Flying Raijin Jutsu
When Gojo is confronted by the special grade cursed spirit that goes by the name Jogo, the jutsu sorcerer cements himself as the most powerful character by toying with the cursed spirit despite Jogo's lethal intentions. After proving just how untouchable he is thanks to a powerful inherited technique, Gojo decides to bring Yuji Itadori into the battle to teach him about Domain Expansion.
Before pulling Jogo into Infinite Void, Satoru manages to travel to Yuji's training grounds and back before Jogo even fully realizes that the jujutsu sorcerer has left the battlefield. This sort of teleportation skill proves that Gojo is more than capable of using the Raijin Jutsu Technique.
7Couldn't Use: Although Some Cursed Spirits Have The Ability To Bring Others Back From Death, Satoru Gojo Has Yet To Demonstrate Any Abilities Similar To The Edo Tensei Jutsu
Sukuna has already demonstrated his power as a cursed energy user by both murdering Yuji Itadori and bringing him back to life. If this list were tracking Sukuna's talents, the Edo Tensei Jutsu Technique would be a more attainable goal.
Before Gojo proves that he is capable of learning the Edo Tensei Jutsu Technique, he should first prove that he has mastered Reverse Cursed Techniques. Even when Gojo does manage to prove this, this is a skill he would more than likely leave unexplored.
6Could Use: Just Like A Shinobi From Naruto Can Enhance Their Base Skills With The Lightning Release Chakra Jutsu, Satoru Gojo Can Accomplish The Same With Cursed Energy
Cursed Energy is a complex power source much like the chakra introduced in Naruto. Unlike chakra though, cursed energy does not need to be supplemented by other power sources to prove useful.
The Chidori Jutsu technique and The Lightning Release Chakra Jutsu are perfect examples of chakra's weakness when compared to cursed energy. Without even needing to alter the state of his cursed energy, Gojo is able to enhance his speed and strength just like a shinobi using the Lightning Release Chakra Jutsu.
5Couldn't Use: The Ability To Wield Truth Seeking Orbs Is An Honor That Gojo Deserves, But One That Is Limited To Those That Fight In The World Of Naruto
Satoru Gojo is the type of overpowered anime character that would surely be able to use the Time Seeking Orb jutsu if he lived in the world of Naruto. Gojo exists within Jujutsu Kaisen as the most overpowered jujutsu sorcerer of his time, but even he still respects the fact that some abilities are simply out of his reach.
If Gojo is able to respect the fact that he can never possess a power like Megumi's Ten Shadows Technique, he can certainly respect the idea that the six paths jutsu wasn't made for him. Unless Gojo officially makes the move into the Naruto canon, this jutsu will remain out of his reach.
4Could Use: Izanagi May Be A Cheat Code In The World Of Naruto, But It Shares Quite A Bit In Common With Gojo's Inherited Limitless Technique
Izanagi is a jutsu that allows a shinobi to cheat death by manipulating the very fabric of reality. Much like Gojo is able to manipulate the infinity that exists in the world to cheat death, a powerful shinobi can do the same with the Izanagi Jutsu Technique.
By turning imagination into reality, Gojo is able to bend the power of infinity to his will. The inherited technique Limitless allows Gojo to create an unbreakable barrier between himself and his enemy. The jujutsu sorcerer makes a trick like Izanagi look so simple that it doesn't even come with the risk of casting a shadow on Gojo's beautiful baby blues.
3Couldn't Use: Unless Viewers Are Willing To Risk Destroying Satoru Gojo's Immaculate Bone Structure The All Killing Ash Bones Jutsu Technique Is Strictly Off Limits
The All Killing Ash Bones Jutsu Technique will remind some viewers of Tomura Shiguraki's decay Quirk from My Hero Academia. By applying chakra to their protruding bones and firing them at their foe, Kaguya is able to disintegrate an enemy at the molecular level.
Though Gojo is surely able to disintegrate his opponents with his Hollow Purple technique, the ability to weaponize his own bones is way out of bounds. Considering how beautiful this powerful sensei is, it would be a shame if he ever learned how to pull out his own bones and use them as weapons. Keep Gojo's bone structure intact!
2Could Use: Rasenshuriken Is A Simple Deviation From Rasengan, But The Way Naruto Combines The Power Of His Chakra Blasts Is Similar To Gojo's Hollow Purple Cursed Technique
Rasenshuriken isn't unique in terms of chakra enhanced jutsu techniques. In fact, it is a simple deviation of the Rasengan. By channeling chakra, a shinobi can create a spinning ball of chakra energy. The act of creating this spinning ball is labeled as the Rasengan jutsu technique.
Rasengan and Rasenshuriken are both very similar in appearance to Gojo's Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue. To further relate the techniques, Gojo is able to combine his spinning balls of energy to create even more powerful energy attacks, just like Naruto does with his Rasenshuriken. The only real difference between Gojo's cursed technique and these jutsu are the hand seals and the power of the attacks themselves. Gojo could easily learn a few hand seals, and his cursed technique requires much more power than this simple jutsu command.
1Couldn't Use: The Spiked Human Bullet Tank Jutsu Is A Powerful Taijutsu Technique That Would Do More Harm To Gojo's Body Than It Is Worth
Naruto has been around for so long that it has managed to explore some pretty odd jutsu techniques throughout its two separate anime series. The Spiked Human Bullet Train Jutsu Technique involves enlarging the body before rolling up into a ball and charging at the enemy with a handful of kunai.
For Gojo to accomplish this jutsu, he would need to first learn the multi-size jutsu technique that allows a shinobi to increase the size of their body. Regardless of whether he could learn these techniques or not, Gojo has no need to attempt this attack due to his other strengths as a jujutsu sorcerer.
